"As for the method we follow in breeding, we`re always looking for what works," says Dolorosa Arabians owner DeCarol Williamson. "We study the past -- so many earlier breeders have left us a map to show the way. You don`t have to reinvent the wheel. You study the breeding records and find out what worked and what didn`t.

"I believe your breeding program is judged in the show ring. We breed show horses. If you aren`t breeding horses that will excel in the show ring, then you`re probably not breeding horses that are marketable."

On the breeding aspect, Dolorosa Arabians is proud to include Chip Capobianco. Chip, also a talented trainer included in the "Magnificent Seven," has a wide knowledge in the technical advancements of breeding. With certification from North Carolina State University`s Transported, Cooled, and Frozen Semen Course, as well as Colorado State University`s courses on Equine Reproductive management and Artificial Insemination, Chip is responsible for the breeding and foaling that tales place at Dolorosa Arabians.
